Ardara Technologies was founded in April 2004 by Randall E. Pedder, Ph.D., to design, manufacture, and distribute mass spectrometers and custom components for demanding scientific and OEM applications.

Who We Are

We are a specialized engineering and manufacturing team focused on mass spectrometry systems, vacuum components, and electronics modules. Our approach is customer-centered: we align each build to the application, not just a standard catalog specification.

What We Build

Electronics: filament, optics, RF, quadrupole, and detector supplies
Vacuum components: ionizers, ion optics, ion guides, chambers, and flanges
Systems: QGA, TOF, flange-mounted analyzers, and fully custom platforms
Technical support: modernization and upgrades for existing instruments

What's In A Name?

Our company is named after the village in Western Pennsylvania where our founder grew up, the same village where his father and his father's father were born and raised, which coincidentally is the village where the company currently resides.

If the former mass spectrometer company Balzers (now part of Inficon) can name themselves after their hometown, why can't we?

The "Technologies" portion of our company name emphasizes that we specialize not just in mass spectrometers, but in a variety of technologies used in the design and manufacture of mass spectrometer systems and related products.
